Sometimes it’s nice to break away from the characters that we live vicariously through, and get a bit closer to nature.  By nature, obviously I mean a digital ecosystem that we can control and transform to our liking.  Truly laid back games can sometimes be hard to find, but in this regard, Equilinox does not disappoint.  Everything is zen in this Terra-forming sandbox game, from the cutesy simply-shaped animals to the plethora of purely polygon plant life. 

     Equilinox is everything one would want in a sandbox-style, world-building title.  The diversity of plant and animal life keep the game flowing smoothly. By implementing genetic altering and adding an evolution aspect, the ever changing world keeps an exciting yet gentle pace.  With plenty of tasks to complete, making simple tweeks here and there can effect massive change and reap the reward of extra diversity points, the currency in game that allows the individual to effect greater change.
