Zelda Links Awakening is arguably one of the cutest looking remakes ever created. The bubbly and soft look of the game just makes me want to live in such place. Today Nintendo released an English commercial for the upcoming Nintendo Switch game.

There isn’t much news to take from it, other than drowning yourself in the gorgeous environments and lovable characters shown in the trailer below. The big N also recently revealed that there will be a way to use Amiibos to summon Shadow Link to help you in the many dungeons.

The game originally released on Game Boy in 1993, will launch on September 20th for the Switch alongside the new Nintendo Switch Lite console. If you want to play the game on launch day, you can pre-order it via Amazon.

The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening is heading to Nintendo Switch September 20th, 2019. The game was originally released on Game Boy in 1993 and has received overwhelmingly positive reviews. Now we get to experience the remake on the Switch with enhanced and graphically-adorable visuals!

Take a look at the adorable trailer below as it starts off with the story we all know and love: “Washed ashore a strange land, a castaway will seek the truth. Only first….he must awaken.”

On top of battling enemies in dungeons, we see Link gathering and eating apples, fishing, and up to his usual pot-smashing-shenanigans. We also get to see him purchase arrows in the most adorable shop we have ever seen and now we must buy all the things!

In case you haven’t played the original version, you can look forward to finding characters from the Mario series and other unusual Zelda-like things such as some dungeons that will have 2D-scrolling. You’ll see Chain Chomps, or rather a Chain Chomp family including a little baby one, and below there’s a Yoshi doll from Nintendo Treehouse live.

    Dungeons

A newly added feature is being able to create your own dungeon by first entering Dampé’s Shack. Place chambers earned on your adventure to arrange and design your own dungeon and explore them to your heart’s content! You have to make sure that all of your doorways connect together. If you conquer these chambers then you can receive many rewards such as Fairy Bottles. Speaking of dungeons, the creators were proud to confirm the return of the Color Dungeon. This was first introduced in the Game Boy Color version with many puzzles to solve.

Finally, keep following us on Twitter for more Nintendo and E3 2019 updates! You can also see below for some gameplay footage by Nintendo Treehouse. If you’re a huge Zelda fan than you won’t want to miss this new reveal trailer in our article here. It’s quite the surprise!

Nintendo announced today the list of playable games at E3 this year. The big N revealed that some of their most anticipated games of 2019 can be played, tested and hopefully enjoyed at this years gaming convention. The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield are amongst those titles.

Nintendo is teasing its E3 plans for some time now. The company revealed the schedule as well as the games we will get to see. It looks like the gaming company has plenty of surprises for us in store! Games to be released in 2019 are the titles Nintendo will talk about in their E3 Nintendo Direct on June 11th. Of course, many fans expect to see Animal Crossing Switch as this is one of the many titles to be released in 2019.

If you happen to be in Los Angeles during the time of June 11 – June 13th, then you may want to stop at Nintendos booth to enjoy some of the following games:

    • Pokemon Sword
    • Pokemon Shield
    • The Legend of Zelda Links Awakening
    • Luigios Mansion 3
    • Marvel – Ultimate Alliance 3: The Black Order
    • … and more!
    Nintendo E3

Some rumors suggested that “… and more” could refer to the highly anticipated Animal Crossing Switch game. While the Animal Crossing franchise has seen debuts at the E3 ( and we also strongly believe to see the title there – you can caught up on why we believe this right here ), we do not expect any possible Animal Crossing Switch game to be playable at E3 as the game does not demo as well as other games where many tasks can be completed within a short time frame. Who wants to spend only 10 minutes playing a mainline Animal Crossing game after all?
