Get some sound sleep with some pretty sweet and familiar tunes now that the Stardew Valley soundtrack will be lullaby form.

Honestly, I just can’t get enough of all the different ways that I can find to keep my life all about Stardew Valley. I was so overjoyed about the Stardew Valley board game that I made a day one purchase. As if that weren’t enough, it seems that I can now even fall asleep to the amazing sounds that laced the game that I’ve poured countless hours into.

    Stardew Valley Multiplayer

The Prescription for Sleep series takes the soundtracks for different popular games, and makes them super light and soothing. This turns them into nice lullabies for anyone to fall asleep to. The team behind the music has already made lullaby versions of some pretty wonderful games; like Celeste, Shovel Knight and Undertale.

The team behind the music is Saxophonist Norihiko Hibino (Metal Gear Solid/Bayonetta series) and pianist AYAKI (Etrian Odyssey/PersonaQ). Together, the duo calls themselves Gentle Love, and for good reason. They bring a gentle, loving style to all the projects that they undertake.

    Stardew Valley

The Stardew Valley lullaby soundtrack isn’t quite ready yet, but will become available on May, 19th. You will be able to find the soundtrack on the Prescription for Sleep website, where you can find all the other work they have done over the years.

In other Stardew Valley music news, Eric recently announced that the 9 new music tracks for update 1.5 are now available to stream on most music platforms.

We are giving away one copy of the Stardew Valley Board Game!

As many of you may know, the Stardew Valley Board Game sold out quite rapidly. Unfortunately, it seems that many of them went to scalpers, instead of fans of the game. And knowing what we know about ConcernedApe, we can guess that this is not quite what he imagined with the launch of this new version of his game.

So in the spirit of the creator of Stardew, myPotatoGames would like to give away a copy of the board game to one lucky follower. The board game will come to you as free as all the updates for Stardew itself, with not a penny charged. Then, you too will be able to experience the wonder that is one of the greatest board games currently on the market!

To enter the giveaway, just click the “share” button on this Facebook post. That is all. We will pick a random winner from the share pool on April 30th. **U.S. ONLY**

Eric Barone recently mentioned on Twitter that he may announce his current project later this year.

As if the announcement of the new Stardew Valley board game wasn’t enough, Eric also mentioned recently that his current project is coming along nicely, and we may just receive some more news about what’s coming later this year.

Fans have been waiting patiently as Eric mentioned that he will be working in primarily in secrecy for his new project. But, any news is welcomed news when it comes to new games coming from the dev of one of the greatest farming sims of all time.

Just seeing the level of quality that comes from Stardew Valley, there is no doubt that whatever comes next from Eric Barone, it will certainly be something worth adding to the games library.

In a recent Tweet, the developer of Stardew Valley mentioned that update 1.5 will indeed still be coming to mobile devices.

For those that have been waiting on pins and needles, Eric has officially announced that update 1.5 will still be coming to the mobile version of Stardew Valley. While there is no exact release date, Eric has reassured all mobile users that they can expect to see the update. Having released two weeks ago on consoles, here’s hoping that we won’t have to wait to much longer for the mobile update.

    What’s in the update?

The full list of changes and additions is actually quite lengthy, but if you would like to see everything that has changed with 1.5, you can see the devlog here. The page spells out every item and instance of change that came with the 1.5 update for PC, and as there is currently no exact page for the console version, this is as close as we get, for now.

You can be pretty sure, however, that most (if not all) the PC changes will also be for console and mobile (if they apply).

The developer of Stardew Valley has announced that the 1.5 update could be ready as early as the end of January, 2021.

In a recent Tweet, the developer of Stardew Valley announced that the new update for the game (currently available on PC) could also be ready for consoles by the end of this coming January. This update is the biggest that Stardew has seen so far, and is bringing enough new content to practically create an entire new game, which is exactly what yours truly plans to do when the update comes to Switch next month (start a new game, that is).

In the Tweet, Eric also announced that there is still no release date in mind for the update to come to mobile devices. In a separate Tweet, on a side note, Eric also announced that this update was brought into being by himself and another developer friend of his, who goes by @mrpodunkian on Twitter.

Time to boot up Stardew Valley for a full replay when update 1.5 hits and brings new farm types and some cool advanced options.

Every time Eric (ConcernedApe) makes an announcement about the new update, it is practically groundbreaking. Just when you think 1.5 couldn’t get any better, along comes a new Beach Farm type and some advanced options to change carious aspects of the game. Just these two additions alone will be enough for a replay, not to mention the already-announced split-screen co-op and even some new fruits.

    Straight from the source.

This announcement came in the same form as the previous announcements; a Tweet, wherein ConcernedApe announces the aforementioned changes, and even throws in a visual guide to give a better understanding of how the new additions will look, and where they will come into play. In the comments section, Eric goes into more detail about these options as some fans of the game ask questions. (you can see the fruits of those conversations below)

There is even a little blurb to let us know just how the new Beach Farm will effect the growth of our new zone. The blurb reads

“Good foraging and fishing, and tons of open space. Sometimes, supply crates wash up on shore. However, sprinklers don’t work in the sandy soil.”

Eric also goes on to mention that the new advanced options will be available “Only when making a new farm. these options (with one exception) can’t be changed once you’ve started the game”.

A few other notes worth mentioning about the update…

“any crop can be planted in the sand”
    “grass grows in the sand”
The beach farm will fit into the map as “An inlet from the west…”
There will be some normal soil on the Beach Farm, but not a lot.

One of the advanced options can be used to achieve the following effect,
“Right now in Stardew Valley, there’s a bundle that requires red cabbage, which can’t be obtained in year 1 except by random chance at the traveling merchant, which might not happen. Selecting “guaranteed y1 completable” ensures that red cabbage seed will show up in y1″

    About remixed bundles,

“It’s a randomized mixture of some brand new bundles and also old bundles, but sometimes the old ones have variations, for example they might require different crops or fish. If you choose “normal” then it’s just the classic Stardew Valley set of bundles”.

    Stardew Valley 1.5 Release Date

Stardew Valley update 1.5 is now available on PC and will shortly follow on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

ConcernedApe says release is imminent for the long awaited massive content update for Stardew Valley.

Everyone who loves Stardew Valley has been waiting on pins and needles for the release of the new major content update for the game, version 1.5, which has been teased for quite some time now. We have already heard all kinds of things about what to expect in this update, like the ability to move furniture and the addition of split screen multiplayer.

    Stardew Valley in Split-screen

Well, in a recent Tweet from ConcernedApe, we now know that the update is just about ready to be released upon the welcoming community. The developer mentions that this update has been a big one, and he just wanted to make sure that it is released in as pristine condition as possible.

The developer also mentions that the update will definitely be more endgame content-heavy, but will include a few goodies that just might make a fresh run “worth while”

    ConcernedApe recently discussed marriage candidates.

No exact date was given, but just knowing that it’s soon is good enough for me. Time to boot back up and prepare my farm for all kinds of new goodies, and prepare my brain to be sucked back into the world of crop worry and spelunker trepidations!
