For those that are in the dark on this one, Pokemon Home is set to be the new cloud storage service offered by The Pokemon Company. It is set to be a place where you can store all your captured Pokemon from many different Pokemon games.
Not only will you be able to store all your Pokemon in one convenient location, you will also be able to view their stats, moves, and other attributes using the new service. Pokemon Home will be offered as an app, and will be compatible with many different mobile devices, including the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch Lite.
Possibly one of the coolest functions of the new cloud service is the ability to also trade the monsters you have caught from all these games. The Switch version of the app will include Pokemon from Sword/Shield, and Let’s Go Pikachu/Eevee. The mobile version will eventually include the creatures collected Pokemon GO.
The app will also feature a sync ability with The Pokemon Bank from the Nintendo 3DS. This app is really turning out to be everything we originally hoped The Pokemon Bank would be. For more information on The Pokemon Home app, check out the newly updated site.

Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield were immediately met with open, loving arms by the Pokemon community. These games have certainly proven themselves to be among the ranks of top mainline Pokemon games. With new features being added all the time, this epic continues to grow and change in ways that certainly speak to its longevity.
The recent Pokemon Direct revealed all sorts of awesome goodies being unleashed in the Pokemon universe. One of the biggest pieces of news was possibly the unveiling of the Expansion Pass coming soon to Sword & Shield. The beginning features of the pass will be available to all players, including the ability to get your very own Galarian Slowpoke.
The Pass begins with meeting one of two new characters to the game, depending on which game you are playing. Upon download of the DLC, you will immediately have access to one of two new areas in the Galar Region, depending when you get the pass. The Isle of Armor and The Crown Tundra will both feature new trainers and new Pokemon. In total, over 200 Pokemon are being added to the game, including but not limited to Slowpoke, Garchomp, Aurorus, Volcarona and Mareep.
You will be able to access the DLC no matter what point in the game you are currently at. Pre-purchase of the Expansion Pass will start today, and will cost $29.99. “The Isle of Armor is scheduled to be released by the end of June 2020, and The Crown Tundra in the fall of 2020.”

As previously mentioned, there will also be a load of new Pokemon coming to the game, including some from previous games that did not make the initial cut.
A sneak peak at the new content will be available to all Sword and Shield players starting today. Just head over to Wedgehurst Station to meet your designated trainer. All players will have access to the beginning of the Expansion Pass story. All purchasers of the pass will get two bonus outfits, one Pikachu themed and one Eevee themed. We haven’t even finished with the special event of increased chances to find Gigantamax Butterfree, Drednaw and Covirknight in Max Raid Battles until early January 2020 in Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield. Now there’s another one! Starting tomorrow on December 4th, 2019, check out the Wild Area and the dens for a Gigantamax Snorlax, complete with a new look (giant berry tree on its tummy) and G-Max move called Replenish. This special move doesn’t merely deal damage to targets, it can also restore any Berries that Gigantamax Snorlax’s allies have eaten during the battle!
The Berry seeds and small rocks that were tangled in its belly fur have undergone explosive growth thanks to the power of Gigantamaxing. With a tree sprouting upon its belly, this gigantic form of Snorlax has the majesty of a great mountain.
Whether because of the great weight of its stomach or its unchanged natural disposition, this Gigantamax Pokémon almost never moves. When the time comes to do battle, it lifts its upper body by just a tiny amount and attacks by flailing with its arms and legs. At first glance, you might think it’s not very serious about battling—but these actions pack a tremendous punch. In fact, Gigantamax Snorlax is said to be one of the strongest Dynamax Pokémon discovered.
To learn more about Max Raid Battles and online multiplayer, check out my article here, and to find a list of all Gigantamax Pokemon to date, go here. It’s exciting to wait and see what other new Galar Region Pokemon The Pokemon Company may release!

Shopping through Amazon (with your trusty Google Translate for other languages) is an exciting way to get officially licensed products and not miss out on stuff like the new Holiday Merchandise shown earlier this month! Here’s the link for the Pokemon Frosty Christmas items as they tend to sell-out quickly on seasonal stuff!
