In The Hawkers, your goal isn’t just to thrive. Your goal is to help keep your hometown from being swallowed up by the nefarious Mr. Bunny. The powerful businessman is buying up everything around you. You’ll need to not only turn a forgotten farm into a thriving agricultural empire while also building your own business and discovering who you are. Your family’s legacy is shrouded in a mystery that you’ll need to solve, too.
The Hawkers is a cozy farm sim where you grow crops, raise animals, and craft goods to sell. But the game is way more than that. Your choices and how you build your life in the town of Greenleaf matter. The effort you put into building your farm and business affects your story. Build your shop and design the shelves, choose the stock, manage profits, and expand as your clientele grows. Even upgrade tools to help out on the farm. Grow your connections with neighbors by listening to their stories and attending town events. They’re important pieces to your story, too.
What really makes The Hawkers shine is its adorable, handcrafted art style. Every character, item, and environment has been lovingly drawn by hand, giving the game a warm, personal feel that’s hard to resist. All work on this game is done by the solo developer, you can follow them on X here. From the gameplay systems to the visuals, everything has been created by one person, and you can feel that passion in every detail.

If you’re into relaxing gameplay, charming worlds, and supporting indie creators, this is definitely one to watch.
The Hawkers has no current release date as it is still in development. There will be a Kickstarter launching soon, though! Add it to your Steam Wishlist now, and look forward to possible Nintendo Switch and PlayStation releases after launch. I am also hosting a giveaway over on my X/Twitter!

Chef RPG is a beautiful culinary adventure set in a lovely pixel art world. You recently became the owner of a derelict restaurant called Le Sequoia, once managed by a world-famous chef. Even the town of White Ash Harbor has seen better days. Your job is to not only prove yourself as a chef and rocket Le Sequoia back to fame, but to restore White Ash Harbor, too. Get to know several fantastic characters and even fall in love. Hunt, fish, harvest, and buy ingredients to create the tastiest dishes around to prove yourself as a chef. You have big shoes to fill, after all!

This major Chef RPG update features some excellent general improvements and fixes, but it also includes so much more! For one, the player’s home has been overhauled. The house is located just past Le Sequoia, which is convenient! It’s not just for sleeping, though. You can also conduct culinary research there. Visit your kitchen and place the ingredients within the fridge. Once you have enough ingredients ready, use the central table to begin research. There are some specialized research facilities to unlock that will become extensions of your home. Sleep is necessary, but all of your culinary research will help you become a renowned chef.
Furthermore, there are new ingredient makers to use and qualities for the dishes you make. The Chocolate Maker and Soup Vat blueprints can now be unlocked from the new standard research tree. You can also unlock a Cheese Maker and Cream Churner through research. Making Cheese and Cream requires Milk, a new consumable (not an ingredient!) you can buy from shops and vending machines. Dishes you cook now have new qualities. There is Flavors and Temperature. These qualities will be determined by which ingredients you use, but only a few quests use them for now.
You’ll encounter the Sea Traders, boat-fairing shops, on certain days of the week in Chef RPG. Run (you can do that now!) down to the docks on Tuesdays to find the veggie seller and on Wednesdays for the junk seller. Saturdays and Sundays, you’ll find the SS Ambrose. This large trading ship has a furniture store where you’ll find new furniture items, a seed seller, an ingredients seller, and a rare items shop. Also aboard the SS Ambrose is the brand new romanceable character Sahim. Just note that the romance system is still a work in progress, but you can still get to know this tatted-up cutie. There are some new character quests you can complete that serve as the first part of their personal stories. You can check out the Steam news for details (with spoilers) on how to access those quests.

The Flavors Update was released today for everyone to play. Now is a great time to pick up Chef RPG and play through this lovely game! Pick it up today on Steam.

Chef RPG is a beautiful pixel art game where you play as an aspiring chef. You inherit an old restaurant once run by a world-famous chef, but it’s seen better days. In fact, so has the whole town of White Ash Harbor. Your goal is to restore the restaurant, make a name for yourself in the cooking world, and to restore the town. Spend your days gathering and hunting for fresh ingredients. Get to know the quirky townspeople, and perhaps even fall in love. Set the menu daily and whip up some fantastic dishes to impress your customers with, and see what heights you can take the restaurant to!

Just in time for the holidays, Chef RPG has released a brand new update full of quality of life goodness. That means there are no new quests to complete, NPCs to meet, areas to explore, or challenges for the restaurant. All of those things are coming in the next update after the new year, though! This update has overhauls, upgrades, improvements, and more.
The Chef RPG character menu had a complete UI overhaul. It’s easier to read, but it also has two new pages called the Pocket Menu and the Ingredients Page. Pocket Menu lets you set the restaurant’s menu from anywhere at any time. The Ingredients Page shows what ingredients you have stored away, and how many of the missing ingredients you need in order to complete the dishes on the menu.
Other UI improvements in Chef RPG include viewing unlocked Research Skills from the skills page. Inventory has sorting features. You can also view quests you’ve already finished and total unlocked recipes. Prestige has higher priority and its own page. Biggest yet, though, it’s the overhaul to the Skill Tree. The skill tree has separate branches for minigame cooking and autocook. There are 19 new skills, ability level caps are now 20 instead of 15, and max player level is now 70. Skill requirement costs have been adjusted accordingly. You also don’t need to be player level 30 to reset skills, and the cooldown for reset has been reduced from 5 days to 4.
As for the other lovely Chef RPG improvements, there’s a new bar that shows you how fast customers will arrive. Increasing your prestige will increase the number of customers. Fishing spots now have signs that show what fish are currently available to catch. Buffs have their own page now, too. Better yet are the improvements to cloud saves, resulting in fewer instances of saves being lost. The new gameplay settings also allow you to better control your gaming experience. Plus, there’s a whole ton of other improvements that you can find listed on Steam!

This brand new update for Chef RPG is available now on Steam! So, go update your games and enjoy the long list of great improvements.

Idle Waters is a relaxing idle game perfect for those days when you want to play something, but have work to do. Play as a cute red panda fisherman on a quest to simply fish! The game sits at the bottom of your screen and plays while you do something else. You little red panda will cast his line and collect a variety of cool fish species on his own. Or you can click around and help out with the fishing if you want.
There are 12 unique, and beautiful, biomes to enjoy, and 100 different fish to catch across them. There are even special color variants to discover. Put your favorite fish in aquariums to keep for your viewing pleasure. They’ll even produce useful items for you. Plus, you can fulfill requests to discover new areas, items, and more. Upgrades for your backpack, fishing speed, and more are available to improve your fishing experience, too. And there’s no rush, of course. Do everything at your leisure and enjoy your time fishing!

Idle games generally lack with their mindless clicking and battling. However, this new wave of cozy idle games has been a breath of fresh air. And of those, Idle Waters is one of the better ones that I’ve played. Its gorgeous pixel art makes the game visually appealing, but the actual fishing, quests, and upgrades really hold my attention.
This game has fast become a favorite of the cozy idle games I’ve played because each biome is unique. From the design of it to the types of fish you can collect and treasures you discover, each area is a delight to explore. The few NPCs you encounter are also unique. There’s enough fish varieties (100! Plus the color variants!) to keep you hooked and trying to catch all of them. Plus, the little extras like upgrades, but especially the fun aquariums you can fill with your favorite fish and display on your desktop just adds even more charm to the whole operation.
If you’re looking for a cozy, charming idle game to play, Idle Waters is it. Even better is that you can resize the game. By default, it sits across the bottom of your screen. However, you can resize it so it takes up less space overall. Zoom in or out for a better viewing experience, and you can even hide it completely from view. So, if you’re easily distracted, let your little red panda fisherman do all the fishing while hidden from view!

You can find this lovely idler game on Steam now! And if you’re a fan of these slower-paced idle games, then I recommend you do grab it. It has been one of my favorites so far! I definitely give it

It’s an idle game, but you’ll need to interact to really grow this tiny pixel world. Place homes, build ways to grow or make food, and even decorate the world to make it a lively place to be.

Plus, there are different themed towns and cities you can unlock to make this world truly your own. The game is also a productivity tool that includes a Pomodoro timer so you can efficiently manage your work and study time. Countdowns and timers can be used too!
