There may haven’t been the long awaited Nintendo Direct announcement yet but it doesn’t mean Nintendo can not reveal yet another Nintendo Switch console variant!
Following the beyond popular Nintendo Switch Aloha Edition or also known as the Animal Crossing Switch Edition, Nintendo just announced a brand new color for the Switch Lite.
Coral is the latest and fourth addition to the ever growing library of Switch Lite colors. The pastel-like color is super cute – and I want it – it is also possibly a great fit for many Animal Crossing fans!

The Console will release on April 3rd in Japan a western release for the new color has not been announced just yet but it would be no surprise to see a release worldwide later this year, lets keep our fingers crossed!
Update: A US release will be happening in April as well!
Nintendo Switch Delays
Nintendo recently announced that due to the circumstances in China many countries will be seeing some delays in Nintendo Switch shipments. This will also affect the Animal Crossing Switch Edition. However the big N also said that the US will not be affected by these delays at this time.

In addition to a brand new Switch Lite color a long forgotten but much beloved franchise will make it back to Nintendo Switch this March! Cooking Mama Cookstar is on its way and you can watch the first gameplay trailer right here.

While it may still be rumor, DigiTimes says that Nintendo will release a Pro console in Q1 of 2020.
There have been rumors floating around about a Nintendo Switch Pro version pretty much since the launch of the console. Despite that, there has really been no official word from Nintendo pointing at an upgraded console. We got the enhanced battery model, but that’s about it when it comes to added features.
The aforementioned report states that the new Switch model will be ready for mass production by the end of the first fiscal quarter of this year . They also state that the new model will have a magnesium alloy body, instead of the current plastic one. The model will also boast a stronger CPU, allowing for smoother play of some of the more complicated games.
While this is still just a rumor, it is one that I intend to keep a close eye on. The Nintendo Switch Lite also started out as just rumors, and now its here and popular! Having a pro version of the Switch is definitely on my radar, seeing as how Breath of the Wild is one of my favorite games. Also, I’m going to put a hurt on that console when Animal Crossing New Horizons comes out. So I say, the stronger the better?

Nintendo has released a video showcasing the Pokemon themed version of Switch Lite.
The release of Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield is so close I can practically taste it! Not to mention, the holiday season has arrived, and whether you like it or not, it’s time to start thinking of great gift ideas.
Everyone and their aunt knows someone who totally digs Pokemon. I love Pokemon, my friends and family love Pokemon (animate potatoes have a thing for creature collection, don’t ask why). And now this amazing franchise will be available on the console it is currently most suited for, the Switch and Switch Lite.
Check out the video below to see just how sleek and special this Pokemon themed Switch Lite really is. The console depicts images of the two new legendary Pokemon coming to the series, Zacian and Zamazenta. Are there any 3DS game franchises that you’d like to see come to the Switch?
As a result of the popularity of the Nintendo Switch Lite, it appears that more of our favorite games from the 3DS might be making their way to the Nintendo Switch. The Pokemon franchise has already made the jump, and soon we will get to see exactly how fabulous of a transition it really is.
Link’s Awakening for the Switch was very well received, and many were overjoyed to see Link in this new adorable light. The 3DS has just so many wonderful titles, this is truly great news. All thanks to the Nintendo Switch Lite already selling almost 2 million copies worldwide.
Soon the Switch will have the next installment in what is basically my favorite Nintendo franchise, Animal Crossing. I can only imagine what other wonderful 3DS games might be making their way to the best family console on the market.
Another great crossover to keep an eye on is the release of Professor Layton’s Mystery Journey: Katrielle and the Millionaires’ Conspiracy – Deluxe Edition, which will be available on Nintendo Switch on November 11th through the official Nintendo website.
