Nintendo recently updated their website to reflect the holiday season, and revealed their Black Friday deals.
Being that it is basically the console of choice when it comes to family gaming, I can certainly see that Nintendo Switch will be getting a lot of attention this year. Even if Nintendo isn’t willing to back down on the price of the console, they are still offering some good deals that have given me some great gift ideas.
Nintendo will be selling the classic Switch with a copy of Mario Kart 8 for $299.99. So basically a free game when you buy the console. The Pokemon Center in the US just announced its Holiday merchandise for 2019 and oh boy! Did they come up with some nice things to make this Christmas even sweeter!
Starting tomorrow November 1st, just right in time to take off all the spiderwebs from Halloween, you can browse some Pokemon themed merchandise for yourself or a loved one to place under this years tree. Ebay is offering a discount on the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller.
The Joy-Con is certainly a welcomed addition to the Nintendo family, but sometimes it just doesn’t cut the mustard. Having one solid controller built like a classic can have many benefits. I can say for sure that some people even prefer an original style controller. The size increase alone is enough to make one consider an upgrade.
Many have complained about the fact that the Joy-Con is not capable of connecting a headset. Well, having a Nintendo Switch Pro controller can fix that. Not to mention, with the Joy-Con still costing around $80, having a discount on a Pro controller comes in handy in more ways than one. Ebay is currently offering the Pro controller for only $58.99. With the holidays coming up, might be something to consider.

A Mario Kart themed steering wheel is available for pre-order for the Nintendo Switch.
I love all the accessories that really help you get into a game. The more immersion, the better. And racing with an actual steering wheel really helps you get into the game. I always found that Mario Kart specifically could be a little tough with a wheel, drifting around corners while trying to use items. However, there are other racing games to be played.
Luckily, there are two versions of the new wheel being released. One is a basic style for your average casual gamer or younger audience. The other is a pro version that features more buttons and a higher price tag. The former costs 75.99, and the latter costs $139.99.
