Love, Ghostie is possibly the cutest matchmaking and management game ever. You play as a recently deceased person who has become a ghost and is now living in a manor. However, things aren’t so bleak! You get to have fun in your new lifetime, too. The residents there are perfect for some matchmaking! There are 12 unique residents that you can get to know by setting them up on dates, decorating their rooms, and also sending them out on errands to lift their spirits. How you play is up to you, too!
With 12 residents, there are 66 different possible pairings and each couple has its own storyline to discover in Love, Ghostie. You’ll need to have fun with multiple playthroughs to experience every pairing, but you’re free to match anyone together. Perhaps pair the emo giraffe with the fabulous sheep and the cute cats together. As residents grow closer together, you’ll experience adorable relationship scenes and unlock minigames that deepen relationships and boost resident happiness.

In Shinehill by developer Peach Bite, you play as a spy who has been assigned a tough new job. You arrive on an unfamiliar planet where you suddenly replace one of the residents. The trusting locals mistake you for a new neighbor and treat you with kindness by giving you a house and plot of land. From there, the rest is up to you!
Spend your days on this supposed island paradise becoming a champion fisherman. Or start a farm on your plot of land and tend to a variety of crops. You can even cook up some delicious meals in Shinehill and go exploring abandoned dungeons across the island that hold secrets. The real question is, what made your command turn their eyes toward this planet? Is there something shady going on and it’s up to you to figure out? Perhaps! Get to know your new neighbors. Help them out and learn their stories. Maybe even make friends, or become more. One of your new friends might actually be a threat to everyone else.

Slow Living with Princess, developed by Kadokawa and Tsukurite, is a beautiful anime-inspired farming sim. You play as Gideon Ragnason, an adventurer banished from his adventuring party, led by his sister Ruti, for not being strong enough to help defeat the Demon Lord. Afterward, Gideon changed his name to Red and has settled in the frontier land of Zoltan to start his own apothecary and live a more quiet life. Your job is to lead a fulfilling life and make the apothecary profitable!
Explore the area to collect materials. Gather items, go fishing, and defeat monsters. You even grow your own crops on farm plots on your homestead. Then, use all the items you’ve grown or gathered to cook delicious recipes and mix up potent medicines. Sell the food and medicines in your apothecary to earn a profit. Taking on tasks from the locals will raise your adventurer rank and award you with special rewards. And of course, take time out of your busy schedule to build your relationships with your sister and a former princess. Deepening your bond with them may prove fruitful for your future!

Start your new sim life by fully customizing your character with hair types, hair colors, clothing, and personality traits. Start your new life by moving into a rustic, cozy home, but visit the local DIY shop to buy stuff for house upgrades. Also explore a bustling piece of the city where you’ll find shops, NPCs, and even vehicle traffic. Stop in the gym to get your sweat on, or run around collecting coins to donate to the museum. There’s even fishing to be done in Little Sim World. Visit the quaint Grosvenor Canal to catch all kinds of fish. Or go chill at the library to read and learn something new. Perhaps even fall in love? The opportunities are nearly endless.
Every day isn’t all fun and games, though! You must manage your character’s needs for food, water, hygiene, even entertainment and comfort. Plus, a job is necessary to obtain funds for your decorating endeavors and expenses. So you must learn to balance everything well in order to achieve success, but this offers a truly excellent life sim experience. Never mind that the game’s visuals are absolutely charming and adorable. Throw in the dynamic weather and different seasonal changes, Little Sim World has a lot to offer and is well-worth backing on Kickstarter!

The community of Brookhaven includes those who use magic. It is the backbone of this society, after all, and you’ll be able to join in by learning how to perform magic. You’ll also get to engage in a wide variety of activities. Fish for a variety of fish species in different areas of the world. Forage for mushrooms, flowers, and herbs. Grow vegetables, herbs, flowers, nuts, and fruit trees, then cook up a storm with your ingredients.
