Seeing as how PONG was the first commercially successful video game ever, it makes sense that Atari would try to breathe new life into this epic table tennis title. Atari’s new game, PONG Quest, puts an RPG spin the game, hoping to help it reach a wider audience.
PONG paved the way for video games to become the norm in every household, and all gamers owe a great debt of gratitude to this groundbreaking eSports game. Pretty much everything that came after was a direct result of PONG’s success.
Published by Atari and developed by Checkered Ink, PONG Quest is a brand new RPG title that puts you in the role of one of the side-bars used to deflect the “ping-pong” ball. There will be many different ways to play, and lots of customizations, which is something I’d never have expected for a remake of a game like this one.
Explore the world and take on the many different pong paddles that you encounter along the way. Strive to learn new power-ups and become strong enough to save the world of PONG!

[dropcap]R[/dropcap]ollerCoaster Tycoon Adventures (RCTA) is an upcoming amusement park simulation game developed exclusively for the Nintendo Switch. Developers of the popular RollerCoaster Tycoon franchise, Atari, have announced that RCTA will be available in Europe on the 29th November, and in North America on the 13th December.
Despite criticism over Atari’s need to crowdfund RCTA, as well as concerns that the Switch console won’t do the game justice, Atari has said that the game is “built from the ground up to take advantage of the Switch’s best features.”
The game can be purchased digitally through the Nintendo eShop, or as a physical copy from retail outlets. UK Switch owners can pre-order the game at Argos for £39.99.
