If you received a new Nintendo Switch from Santa or simply looking to expand your library, here are some of the cutest games should play.
Some reports show that Santa has been pretty generous this year and there is a chance that if you were hoping for a new Switch, you may have found one underneath the tree.
No matter if you are an experienced Switch owner or if you just joining the fun, here are some super cute games that you should consider adding to your games library.
From hidden gems like Little Dragons Cafe a game made by the original Harvest Moon creator, where you run your very own Cafe and raise dragons at the same time – to must haves like Animal Crossing New Horizons. Dive in and check out some of these adorable and wholesome games that are perfect for cuddly and cozy winter evenings.
Little Dragons Cafe
Little Dragons Cafe is the latest game by Yasuhiro Wada the original Harvest Moon creator. In little Dragons Cafe players choose between a boy or a girl, who are twin siblings. You will be able to gather ingredients and cook recipes in order to run your very own Cafe. Furthermore players will be able to raise a dragon. Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles
For those with their head in the ‘clouds’, who have not yet played or heard of Yonder: The Cloud Catcher Chronicles, it is an aesthetic open-world adventure game. It was initially released for PC and PS4 on July 18th 2017. It was released for Switch on 17th May 2018.

The Stillness of the Wind My Riding Stable 2
My Riding Stables 2 – A New Adventure is an open world exploration game that focuses on the life of a stable owner, and that stable owner is you. You will get to care for a few different breeds of horses, while you try to run a fully functioning riding stable.
There will be many different activities to participate in while running your business. You can choose to start the game as most do and take part in the story mode, or you can choose to ride off into the world in search of treasures.
Harvest Life
Harvest Life is taking a cute approach to the oh so adorable farming life simulation genre. In this game the player will of course do some extensive farming, taking care of livestock and exploring the gorgeous environment. But beyond it’s usual farming features, the game also delivers an intriguing story line.

Story of Seasons Friends of Mineral Town is a remake of the much beloved and highly praised Harvest Moon Friends of Mineral Town that originally released on Gameboy Advance – many, many years ago! And now it is finally coming to Nintendo Switch with all new features and upgraded visuals!
Paleo Pines
Paleo Pines is a charming dinosaur farming game. Customize your character, and embark on a journey to a peaceful little island where pioneers live peacefully with affectionate dinosaurs. Unsure as to whether we’d be getting new Halloween-themed in-game items, players decided to bring spooky season to the game prematurely with these inspiring island ideas and professional-looking pumpkin patches. Even if Nintendo doesn’t share many new items, the community always keeps it fresh!
I was so excited to finally know for sure that Jack was back when Nintendo announced it during the games first year, that
I didn’t even mind the return of that god-forsaken Halloween music (‘witch’ in New Horizons, sounds rather like it could’ve been played by Miles Davis himself…)*Hisses in Animalese!*But whilst I was busy clapping at the pumpkin seeds on sale in Nook’s Cranny, creative players were busy doing what they do best! Having a campsite in Animal Crossing: New Horizons can be a super aesthetic little addition to your island. As well as the aesthetic value of making a campsite, the process is also fun and therapeutic. With many of us having missed out on our usual summer holidays, having a cozy virtual campsite can somewhat make up for this.
However, you might be needing some inspiration. The many items and customization options available can often be a little overwhelming. Are you looking to change your island up? Maybe after months of gameplay, you don’t have a lot of space and need some smaller campsite ideas?
Wherever you fall, we’ve got you covered with these super cool Animal Crossing: New Horizons campsite ideas. If you’ve not yet built the campsite, the below steps explain how.
How To Unlock The Campsite?
To unlock the campsite, you will first need to:
- Pay off your getaway package debt and upgrade your tent to a house.
- Provide the materials required by the Nooklings to build Nook’s Cranny.
- Build a bridge.
- Craft the required items for three homes and have three new villagers move in.
- After completing these steps, the Residents Services building will be built.
How To Build The Campsite?
After you have upgraded the Residents Services building from a tent to a building, you must do the following:
- Talk to Tom Nook and select the ‘What should I do?’ option twice. This will prompt the tanuki to share his desire for K.K. Slider to visit the island and put on a show. Tom Nook wishes to invite K.K. Slider, however, he wants to build a campsite first.
- Tom Nook will ask for your help in building the campsite and therefore will give you the campsite construction kit recipe .
- Next you must craft the kit at a workbench using 15x iron nuggets, 15x wood, 15x softwood and 15x hardwood.
- After crafting the kit, you need to find a spot to place it. The location you choose will mark where the campsite will be built.
After choosing a spot for the campsite, return to the Residents Services building. Talk with Tom Nook and the building of the campsite will begin. After building the campsiste and unlocking the game’s amiibo feature, you will be able to add and remove residents to your island.

Celebrate the holidays the right way with this Animal Crossing stuffed Christmas stocking.
The holiday of gift giving is just around the corner. I know that many of you out there, like myself, are already getting super giddy about the impending good times. It seems like this year, more-so than recent years, we could all use a little extra joy and laughter, and love of family and friends. Nintendo has released a new “Switch My Way” trailer featuring Animal Crossing: New Horizons.
With the gift giving holiday just around the corner, it comes as no surprise that Nintendo is trying to remind people of what is the most family friendly console currently on the market.
What better way to do this than feature your most popular game in a short video showing just how fun and inspiring your console can be.
The “Switch My Way” trailers attempt to show the diversity of the console, and myriad different ways that it can promote you to do different things in your daily life.
They show how the console is more than just a console, it can easily be a part of who are, without ever really getting in the way.
