[dropcap]X[/dropcap]SEED Games has finally announced that the long awaited Story of Seasons Trio of Towns DLC will be released on November 9th. The company has also unveiled a new theme for 3DS. The DLC will be available for $7.99 from the Nintendo 3DS eShop beginning November 9th. The new Story of Seasons Theme for Nintendo 3Ds will become available on the same day for $1.99.
Players will need to first download a free 1.1 update for Story of Seasons: Trio of Towns in order to purchase and install the DLC. Doing so will provide bug fixes, other improvements and a total of four new outfits, which include Lest and Frey’s attire from Rune Factory 4. Furthermore the Story of Seasons Trio of Towns DLC will feature new events, outfits, dialogue, story and romance candidates! We can’t wait to get our hands on the DLC, what do you look forward to most in the upcoming DLC?

Oh, there we go…now it’ll recognize that I’m logged in. 🙂 I’m very happy about the DLC! I’ll be buying it twice, as I kept my old 3DS even after I got an N3DS and I use my physical cartridge on one while using a digital on the other and I like to be able to trade items between my files sometimes.
This is also the very last week when anything in my garden will be in bloom…I’ve got to rip out and compost all annuals soon, and it’ll be all barren and cold and I’m going to need to have my digital farming life refreshed in the trio of towns to satisfy that getting-down-to-nature feeling that is lost for 4 to 6 months, here, with the ground all frozen and the leaves all dead and fallen and…yuck, winter. I don’t even like winter IN GAME, lol. (Though it had the very best music in the first SoS, imo.)

I agree! I cant wait for this DLC, it will breath fresh air into the game. Is the switch version still planned ?

As far as we know…and there have been no details yet…the Switch ‘Bokumono’ game is likely to be a new one rather than a port of Story of Seasons (1) or SoS: Trio of Towns. But it is possible that the Bokumono game included on the ‘upcoming games’ graphic at launch was about a port. Personally I’m hoping for something totally new. The recent games have been coming out about two years apart and it’ll be two years in Japan next June, so I’m really hoping that we’ll start to see teaser info on a Bokumono Switch game sometime at or around the turn of the year. Got my fingers crossed, anyway 🙂 Meanwhile, definitely gonna jump on that DLC as soon as it is released!
