I spent the last week stocking, cleaning and decorating my own little Fantasy Boutique in a cozy Medieval town.

I have been playing the Arcane Merchant demo and many hours in I still find myself wanting to play more. I am obsessed with the in-depth shopkeeping mechanics. You start out with a tiny little shop and it’s the choices you make that will eventually help you grow your small business into a hot spot for all the magical needs of the villagers living in your town.

Running your own little corner shop feels like a more advanced and more in-depth version of the Sims open for Business. Interact with the townsfolk’s and drive your business to success. All the choices you make matter and will shape the outcome of your play through.

One of my favorite things about this game is there are no rush or pressure mechanics, you can take your time and really enjoy decorating your space and engaging with the villagers who visit you.
