[dropcap]P[/dropcap]ikmin fans have long been waiting for this moment. The game is set to release on Virtual console for Nintendo Wii U tomorrow. Nintendo continues to support the Wii U, unlike many fans were worried about, the system is not declared dead just yet.
Nintendo Switch owners should be jealous of all the Wii U owners able to enjoy Pikmin 2 on their console beginning today. The game has even added off screen support. You can buy the game on the Wii U eShop for only $19.99 – this is a steal for such beautifully crafted game. Given the game was sold on several websites like eBay and Amazon for $80 and more when it was first ported to the Wii back in the days.
If you own a Wii U, and you are a fan of Pikmin, then you are in for a treat. Virtual Console games can not be transferred over to the Nintendo Switch at this point. Rumors have emerged that once Virtual Console launches on Nintendos new console, purchases made on the Wii U could be transferred over. No official information have been released on this just yet.
