Nintendo continues on its quest to deliver new mobile experiences based on existing franchises. Mario Run, Animal Crossing Pocket Camp and Fire Emblem were amongst the first ones to hit iOS and Android. Now it was revealed that Pokemon Mobile is heading our way.
In partnership with The Pokémon Company, DeNA is working on the next Pokemon mobile game according to the financial report made available by the mobile developer. No information or details have been revealed at this time, as Nintendo is expected to remain quiet about the development in favor of the upcoming Pokemon Sword and Pokemon Shield arriving on Nintendo Switch this winter.
The big N is also currently working on Mario Kart Mobile, the iOS and Android version of the quirky racer was expected to release in March 2019, but was recently delayed until late Summer 2019. Dr. Mario World is another smartphone game the company is working on, it is currently scheduled to become available this summer as well.
Nintendos mobile games have seen some great success with Fire Emblem Heroes, Dragalia Lost and Animal Crossing all crossing $50 million dollars in revenue.
