[dropcap]L[/dropcap]evel-5 the developer behind beloved games like Fantasy Life and the upcoming Fantasy Life Online, released new information about it’s new franchise The Snack World. The newly opened Japanese website has revealed tons of new details about the new adventure game.

Once you enter the game you will be faced with an extensive avatar customization, hair, clothes, eye-color and more come with a huge variety of options. The game takes some beloved features from Fantasy Life. You will be going back and forth between dungeons and the village, taking on different jobs. Of course there will be a lot of loot, and rare items waiting to be collected.

The dungeons in The Snack World are randomly generated, this means that every dungeon you enter will look and feel different. This will help make the game feel fresh for longer. Beyond dungeons you will also be selecting a Jara, which is a term used for weapons in the game. You can design and prepare different Jaras to fight a variety of different monsters with different abilities.

You will receive different benefits from scanning Snacks and Jaras. While Jaras refer to any kind of weapons in the games, Snacks on the other side are Crystal Plates. These can contain and freeze monsters. For early adopters of the Video Game, Level-5 will have out a limited Jara: Crystal Sword that will only be available in  limited run of The Snack World.

The Snack World will be released for Nintendo 3DS and iOS/Android in Japan in 2017. A North American release is slatted for later this year.
