Pajama Llama Games is an indie game developer in Belgium currently working on Flotsam, a unique town-builder in a flooded post-apocalyptic world with a strong focus on survival. The game is releasing sometime in 2019 for PC and Mac.
You manage a floating village community as it moves around the ocean. You recycle garbage, scrap, driftwood, and flotsam to construct buildings and collect fish and drinkable water to keep your villagers alive. Moreover, food will consist of fish, seafood like mussels, lobsters or even seaweed. On your journey you will encounter dangerous sea animals, visitors with unknown intentions, and mysterious ruins and wreckage.

- A constantly moving landscape while your town floats on the ocean currents.
- Construct and maintain a floating town.

The developers are currently working on sounds for the villagers, which is a feature that just adds that much more to the charm and humor of Flotsam. See below for their latest Tweet.

This looks really interesting. The cover graphic reminded me of the art style of the Deponia series.

That’s true! Unique way to build a town. For some reason the seagull made me think of Finding Nemo ????.
