[dropcap]E[/dropcap]A just announced that Fifa 18 will be released for Xbox One, Playstation 4, PC and Nintendo Switch on September 19th. There have been rumors that the Switch version would receive a different name, due to it being different to the other versions. There are numerous indications that the Nintendo Switch version is not made with the same frostbite engine the next-gen versions are created with. This would mean that Nintendos hybrid console receives a slightly different iteration of Fifa 18.
The Journey: Hunter Mode for example will not be available on the Switch version. This information was extracted from the video credits at the end. It seems as if the Fifa 18 version of the game will lack features, and might not be considered an equal port of the soccer game. Below is the new Fifa 18 announcement trailer. Keep in mind that the footage seen below is most likely captured from the PC version of the game. Fifa for Nintendo Switch can be pre-ordered right here.
