For the once who have been living under a rock, Mineko’s Night Market is one of the most anticipated indie games for some time now. Mineko’s Night Market is an upcoming cat-themed crafting adventure game that celebrates Japanese culture and is essentially about friendship, choices, and of course, cats.
The two developers behind the game announced in April of 2019 that after a very busy time they needed a much deserved cat-nap and stepped away from the spotlight and development of the game for a while.
Luckily they are back in full strength and excited more than ever about the development of the game. On Twitter they announced that the indie is currently in full time development and in addition more news and announcement will follow very soon.
Mineko’s Night Market also revealed that they are getting a little help to move development forward faster.

As if the announcement of the new Stardew Valley board game wasn’t enough, Eric also mentioned recently that his current project is coming along nicely, and we may just receive some more news about what’s coming later this year.
Fans have been waiting patiently as Eric mentioned that he will be working in primarily in secrecy for his new project. But, any news is welcomed news when it comes to new games coming from the dev of one of the greatest farming sims of all time.
It's coming along well, I might even announce what it is later this year
— ConcernedApe (@ConcernedApe) February 23, 2021
Just seeing the level of quality that comes from Stardew Valley, there is no doubt that whatever comes next from Eric Barone, it will certainly be something worth adding to the games library.
For more great news from Eric, check out my coverage of what’s happening with the 1.5 update.

For those that have been waiting on pins and needles, Eric has officially announced that update 1.5 will still be coming to the mobile version of Stardew Valley. While there is no exact release date, Eric has reassured all mobile users that they can expect to see the update. Having released two weeks ago on consoles, here’s hoping that we won’t have to wait to much longer for the mobile update.
As for mobile: I'm committed to seeing the 1.5 update come to mobile, and I'm doing what I can to make that happen as soon as possible. There's no current timeline I can give for when that will happen, though.
— ConcernedApe (@ConcernedApe) February 23, 2021

The full list of changes and additions is actually quite lengthy, but if you would like to see everything that has changed with 1.5, you can see the devlog here. The page spells out every item and instance of change that came with the 1.5 update for PC, and as there is currently no exact page for the console version, this is as close as we get, for now.
You can be pretty sure, however, that most (if not all) the PC changes will also be for console and mobile (if they apply).

The Stardew Valley board game is the first official spin off from the actual video game. No other than ConcernedApe – creator of Stardew Valley himself announced today that the official board game is a real thing.
Eric also said that the board game is not just lifeless copy of the actual game as he points out it’s “not a short, casual game,” it actually packs the depth of the real game.
The cozy and friendly atmosphere from the game is represented in the board game as its a co-op experience rather than a competitive one. You and up to four friends will work together to restore the town. To do so you will have to work well together with your friends, go fishing, mining and enjoy many other actives you come to love from Stardew Valley!
Take a look at the official announcement trailer for the Stardew Valley Board Game below.
The Stardew Valley Board Game is now available via the official Stardew Valley store. If you want to play a co-op board game with your friends this might be the one for you! Check it out here.
