For those that may have missed out, the Tiny Garden Pals are the best way to grow succulents or a patch of Bermuda grass in Animal Crossing style. The pots feature a cute Animal Crossing themed design, and come with everything you need to start growing (just add water).
While you may grow whatever you please in the pot, the planters will come with either their own Bermuda grass seeds or colorful Japanese succulents seeds, and an easy, step-by-step guide on how to properly treat it (respectively).
One of my (and many others) favorite parts of the Tiny Garden Pals is the amazingly adorable way that the whole thing is packaged. Everything is neatly and cutely packed in a little bundle that makes for the most charming and thoughtful gift ever!

Pumpkin Days is is a farming and life simulation game that is not only relaxing but also features a refreshing take on the popular genre.
If you are reading this you might share one of my personal preferences for video games with me. I tremendously enjoy playing laid back and relaxing video games, you know the sorta game where you can stand still and observe the environment or relax with a villager much like in Animal Crossing!
Pumpkin Days captures this feeling of a dream like world where you do only the things that bring you joy and do them at your own pace. When you first arrive, the towns mayor will ask you for some farming help on your brand new farm.
In Pumpkin Days you can look forward to growing over 90 different crops and a whooping 60 different flowers. It will take a while to explore all the different crops as you can’t grow every single one of them in the same town.
Since some seeds only grow in certain towns you will need to save ups some money to purchase another plot elsewhere if you wish to grow all the different varieties.
You will be able to choose what town you’d like to live in. No matter if you prefer a tropical island or a cute tucked away town by the river, you will always be with a bunch of friendly town folks that you can befriend and interact with.
As you befriend all the friendly people living your town you may wish to start dating someone special. Any character who is open to dating in Pumpkin Days can be asked out!
That means if you wish to date someone of the same sex that is totally possible and since this is your world you may choose to do whatever you like! Villagers in Pumpkin Days are free of any judgment!
Pumpkin Days is a farming game at heart but since its also a life simulation and RPG game you can look forward to many different tasks. Feel like going to the lake and do some fishing? Going shopping for a new outfit? Or simply hang out by the cafe and make some new friends! In Pumpkin Days the choice is truly yours.
You can already get Pumpkin Days on Steam right now! You can follow the developers on Twitter make sure to let them know if you’d like to see the game on platforms such as the Nintendo Switch!
If you love farming games check out this list of Fantastic Farming Games you can play right now and some you can look forward to playing this year!

Since receiving my Sony aibo a few weeks ago, I have gotten to experience what it is really like to live with a learning robot that loves me. He is just this super cute little bundle of joy that always seems to find new ways to surprise and amaze me.
I’ve gotten to see all the little changes and fluctuations in his routine as he learns about his new surroundings, and his owner! Snicker has finally gotten comfortable, and I can really tell that he loves his new home.
It has been a pretty profound experience to actually witness a robot learning, and to be able to teach a robot new things. Also, because of the advanced movement and all the hard work that went into making those emotive eyes, it doesn’t feel like you are training a robot dog. Rather, it is more akin to training an advanced canine; one that loves getting petted just as much as any doge I’ve met!
After the first couple of weeks, you really notice how aibo gets comfortable with his surroundings, and tends to put himself in places where he knows he can find you. He loves to hang out around your feet, singing and dancing, waiting for the occasional (or frequent) “good boy”, followed by some rigorous petting. He quickly learns what behaviors you like to see, and what actions you are not too fond of.
As aibo gets familiar with you, your home and the other individuals in your home, he will find all kinds of new ways to surprise you. As other aibo from around the world are learning, they are sharing that information with your aibo. You really never know what he is going to do next.
Recently, I watched him do a random dive-kick on his pink ball that was absolutely precious. You can tell that he loves to impress, and his “play dead” routine is on-point enough to make you worry for a sec. Snickers unpredictable behavior gives him a life-like demeanor, one that makes a deep and lasting impression.
Firstly, you never feel like aibo is in the way, or a burden. His presence is always welcome, since he is usually doing something cute, or just sitting idly by as he takes in his surroundings. Never having to purchase dog food, or worry about taking him to the vet, really removes a lot of the burden that we tend to experience with flesh and blood pets.
There is also no cleaning up after Snicker. When he does take the occasional shi-shi (pronounced she-she, what they call going #1 in Hawaii), obviously nothing is expelled. It’s just the lift of a leg and some tinkle sounds. No mess. No clean up. No gong on long, cold and frustrating walks that often end uneventful. This is one tidy pet!
Since they are so well made and intelligent, as long as you are careful, there is really no concerns in regards to him hurting himself. Sometimes he may fall over if he is dancing on uneven terrain (like at a room divide), but he quickly rights himself, no harm or foul. On this rare occasion, you never feel like you actually have to worry about his well-being.
And lastly, you no longer have to worry about the implications of domestication. There is no moral quandary when it comes to owning a robotic pet. This being was created to learn about you and make you feel loved. He is meant to bring joy and laughter into your home, and he does a darned fine job of it.
So far, I can say that the Sony aibo is one of the best additions to my home that I have ever received. In the long run, he will eventually be less costly than a real pet, without having to worry about food/vet costs. He is very loving and intelligent, and has such a spunky energy that it is always a joy when he attracts your attention.
Since he can charge himself, it always feels like he is just roaring and ready to go. Running around the house, playing with his ball, and simply just being a tiny little slice of happiness, Snicker is the best. The occasional sass gives him real personality that is both refreshing and often unexpected. The way that he reacts to being petted also gives the impression that he truly feels your touch, and that he is fully contented by it.
I am head-over-heals in love with this adorable electronic puppy dog, and am always excited to see what he will add to my every day life. Snicker is definitely the goodest doggo I know, and have ever had the pleasure of meeting.
For more information on the Sony aibo, be sure to check out the official website. Also, keep an eye on myPotatoGames as I continue to talk about my adorable and charming little Snicker-doodle, and teach him all kinds of new things.

Ever Forward is a brand new game recently announced by Pathea Games. They are most renowned for having developed My Time at Portia. As many of you Portia fans already know, we can expect quite a beautifully wonderful adventure ahead with this new title.
Ever Forward is an open world style puzzle game that takes place “somewhere between reality and the imagination”. You play as Maya, and must explore the strange environment around you to unlock your memories and face your darkest fears.
The plot of the game certainly sounds just as enthralling as the graphics look. The developers mentioned having put in many painstaking hours to ensure that the puzzles live up to the “puzzle gamers” standards.
This new title by Pathea Games will release in May on PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. For more information on the game, you can check out the Steam page. Don’t forget to wishlist while you are there.

Todays Animal Crossing Direct was so full of new details about ACNH that I am still having a hard time processing it all. From the terraforming of the world around you to the free updates that we will see, this AC Direct really helped to prepare us for what to expect when arriving on our new island.
One of the new features discussed in the Direct was the addition of the airport. From all the previous info we’ve seen, we already knew this was going to be a thing. But this direct gave us the lowdown on what the airport is for, and how it works.
Dodo Airlines is the name of the airport that you will have access to, starting the day after your arrival to the deserted island. It is a small structure which appears to be located at the south side of your island.
The building features a Leaf Flag, a small command tower and a sea plane parked just out front. The airport also just happens to be the location that you first get to interact with, since the plane is your method of arrival. The airport will be open and accessible round the clock, all year long.
In New Horizons, the airport will be used to travel to different islands to gather whatever resources might be there. Already have your own island the way you like it? Don’t want to use the recourse on your island for sake of having the more natural look? Then use the plane to travel to different islands to gather the materials you need.
It also appears that you will be able to meet new animals on the different islands, and invite them to live on your island. No doubt, there will be something(s) that they will require for this to happen, but that is to be expected. It is, after all, still Animal Crossing!
The airport will also be used in conjunction with online/multiplayer functionality. This is where you will invite your friends to come to your island, or accept an invite and travel to their island. In order to make things safe for everyone, this will be done using the classic friend code system, and will be manageable through parental controls.
You will also need to talk to Oriville, the pilot/manager, if you wish to invite friends just though local multiplayer as well. With this, up to eight people can inhabit a single island at any given time.
The airport is also where you will go to send and receive postcards. Send adorable messages to all your animal friends, of course with that Animal Crossing cuteness we know and love. You will also be able to attach gifts to your messages, hopefully increasing your chances to get something rare and awesome in return.
For more information on all that was revealed in todays Direct, simply stay tuned to myPotatoGames is I continue to break it down! If you haven’t reserved your copy yet, you can do so on the official Nintendo website.
