Step into the vibrant world of Bloomtown: A Different Story, where you set out on an exciting adventure through a 1960s Americana world. Play as siblings Emily and Chester as they’re sent to a quiet town to visit their grandfather for the summer. It’s perhaps a little TOO quiet of a town, though. The town of Bloomtown is a quaint little slice of Americana with its movie theater, grocery store, library, and parks. It’s an idyllic little town, but it hides some deep, dark secrets. 

In fact, there’s something very weird afoot in Bloomtown. Children have been disappearing and nightmares have gone from figments of your imagination to real-life events. There’s actually a demon world growing on the underside of this peaceful town, and despite being only a 12 year-old girl (and her younger brother), it’s up to you to save Bloomtown!

Explore the town and get to know the people who inhabit it. Make friends with other kids. Go to the gym to get physically stronger. Work at the grocery store so you can earn some pocket money. Even take some time to relax and garden or fish. You’re in charge of how your journey unfolds. And while the town relies on you to save them, you can’t go in unprepared!

Embark on a mysterious journey in this narrative JRPG that expertly mixes turn-based combat, monster taming, and social RPG elements. Befriend other kids in Bloomtown and team up with them to take on the monstrous demons. Each character possesses unique abilities and strengths, Take advantage of those to come out on top during combat. Summon the demons you’ve captured on your adventure to also help you fight. Utilize level-ups, skills, and a fuse system to come out victorious in your fights and investigations. The town is counting on you, after all!
