As we mentioned a while ago Gears for Breakfast, the developer behind A Hat in Time, is working hard to get the game ready for Nintendo Switch. Today Amazon Spain once again leaked a few titles ahead of its official announcement. According to the retailer: A Hat in Time (not yet available on Switch) and Slay the Spire have both received a listing for a physical release sometime this year.
There have been rumors around a physical release for a Hat in Time on Nintendo Switch for a while now. The Spanish version of Amazon has reliably leaked a few titles in this past. Gears for Breakfast has not commented on the leak yet, but there is a good chance we will be able to add the physical box of the game to our collection later this year.
For anyone who is not familiar with the adorable game, A Hat in Time is a quirky and super adorable 3D platformer that features a little girl who stitches hats to gain super powers. The story in the game evolves around the little hat girl on her journey through various worlds. The player must use all powers available to “jump, fight and stitch new hats to make her way into every nook and cranny of this new world…“
The game is currently available for PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One, the Nintendo Switch version is slated for a release later this year – perhaps in digital as well as in physical form.
